Originally a Commercial Banker, Helene is an experienced FinTech ‘sherpa’, programme director, exited entrepreneur, educator and author. The CEO of New Financial Laboratory, she takes community banks to the digital future by connecting them to the FinTech of the present.
The former MD of the global Rainmaking Colab FinTech Programme, a world-first, post-accelerator programme for Series A+ FinTechs and Tier 1s, Helene was also responsible for the Inaugural Programme of Education/ Events for Innovate Finance. As Director of the FinTech Programme for the LIBF Digital Banking Centre, Lead Fellow and creator on a world-first FinTech Pathway in a Masters in Tech Entrepreneurship Degree for UCL, and co-creator and delivery partner on the Imperial College FinTech Exec Ed Programme, she is passionate about education.
Specialist subject areas are Digital Banking and Alternative Finance (SME/Bs). A regular judge, speaker, and moderator for the banking and FinTech awards and conferences, Helene was a BSI FinTech representative for the UK in Brussels and has been named on the Computer Weekly ‘100 Women in Tech’ list 2018-19 and Innovate Finance ‘Women in FinTech Power List’ 2019. Her new book is Reinventing banking and finance: frameworks to navigate global fintech innovation (Kogan, Sept 2020).

Renier is the LIBF Visiting Professor of Fintech and Innovation and Director of the Centre for Digital Banking & Finance.
He is a Venture Partner with DN Capital focusing on Fintech and also serves as Chairman of TransferGo, Divido, Mojo Mortgages, and Hostmaker. He is a non-executive director at Arion Bank and recently served as board member of Revolut.
In the past, Renier served as CEO of PayPal EMEA and was COO of Barclays International Retail and Commercial Banking. Renier was previously an officer of GE Capital where he served as Chairman and CEO of Budapest Bank, and SVP Business Development for the Americas. Renier was a partner with McKinsey & Company in London, New Delhi, and San Francisco. He holds an MSc with distinction in Computer Science and an MBA with Distinction from INSEAD, France.

Alfonso is Head of Research at Silver 8 Capital, one of the earliest and largest fund managers in the cryptoasset space.
Alfonso serves as a director at Finomial Corporation (a portfolio company) and as an advisor to various fintech start-ups. He lectures at Imperial College London, where he is finalising his PhD on smart contracts, with a focus on legal and financial engineering. Alfonso previously worked as a funds lawyer and graduated with an MSc in Law and Finance from Oxford.

He acts as a Mentor at 4 FinTech accelerators and has advised well known start-ups such as Yolt; Genuine Impact; Tide and Cuvva. He has an MBA with distinction from London Business School and is an Advisory Board Member & NED of two FinTechs.

Richard is an Associate Director of the Centre for Digital Banking & Finance. He is a consultant and advisor to a range of financial services and investment businesses on the impacts of digital disruption.
In the past, Richard led Strategy, Propositions and Investor Relations at Monitise, an international mobile banking software business, Previously, Richard held a number of positions at NatWest and the Royal Bank of Scotland including Head of Strategy for the Retail Bank and Head of Internet and Telephony.
He holds an MSc in Management Science from Imperial College, London and a BA in Mathematics from Oxford University. Richard is an Associate of the Institute of Bankers.

Sabrina is the founder and CEO of Kore, a financial technology company. She has over 25 years experience in financial markets, business transformation and application of new technologies in banking.
Over her career, Sabrina has held senior roles at JP Morgan Chase, Barclays, Coutts and RBS. She is actively involved in the entrepreneurial community, both as a Board adviser for Fintech companies and as a mentor. She currently sits on the Board of Governors of the London Institute of Banking and Finance.
Sabrina holds a Masters in Finance from the London Business School and a degree in Business and Economics from the University of Turin. She has won a number of innovation awards for her work and she has been included in the Timetric Power 50 list of the most influential digital innovators in Europe.
